[ A few days after her post to the network, Rapunzel shows up at Weiss's door and with grim determination knocks on the door. ]
Uh... Heh. Weeeeiss! [ She's sing-songing in a more childlike voice until realising how she sounds.
Which...is when she switches to her ordinary voice, shaking her head to clear it. What is it about this girl that makes her feel so uncertain all the time? Weiss is cool and beautiful, yes, but... not scary. Never scary. Not really.
Rapunzel's next knock is a bit less girlish and a lot more worried. She hasn't spoken to her friend in several days and... more than guilt, the blonde is anxious. ]
[ She twirls a hand thoughtlessly around a few locks of golden blonde hair, which, at the present moment, is piled on top of her head in what's become her trademark "painter's bun". ]
Please be in there. [ Pascal, who's chosen this moment to come out of hiding and sit calmly atop Rapunzel's head, chirps in confusion, causing Rapunzel to look up at him and, offering a reassuring smile, laugh at last. ] I don't know why this always happens! I'm always - HEH. Standing around in front of people's doors, aren't I?
[ Pascal, amused but also unconcerned because what his Rapunzel does is fine with him as long as he gets to ride around on top of her head, simply trills in response before nuzzling her head affectionately and returning to his task of trying to nap. ]
[It was still early, and Weiss had just stepped out of the shower. There wasn't really anything on her schedule today, which allowed her some time to just lounge around. She needed it, really. It wasn't that long ago that she returned from Atlas, and the things she had experienced were still crawling on the back of her neck. An extra hour in her nightgown was the least she could do to unwind.
She was halfway through dressing herself when she heard a knock at the door. Turning away, she was ready to ignore it until she heard Rapunzel's voice. It had been ages since they last spoke, probably since before she had returned home. No doubt she was busy with Jaune, or whatever strange adventures she had gotten herself wrapped up in. The heiress knew exactly what it was like to get wrapped up weird happenings, so it wasn't like she was angry or anything. People get busy, it happens.
She hurries to the door, wanting to make sure her friend didn't get the wrong idea. She's wearing her usual outfit, minus the jacket that she hadn't had time to put on. Her hair is also down, and she'd put her morning slippers back on in place of her heels, making her lack of height all-too apparent.]
