[Vera lets out a small grunt as her back touches the ground, not entirely prepared for what was about to happen. Propping herself up with one hand, she turns onto her side and squirms her way closer to Kara.]

I did not know you had credibility to begin with.

[argone]

I do. Just not with the same people you have credibility with.

[Her hand slides down Vera's neck, fingers trailing along her jaw, down her collar, tracing the buttons of her shirt until they reach her belly. Splaying them, she hums.]

Want to see how my credentials hold up?

[Without waiting for an answer, her mouth darts forward to capture Vera's in a deeply passionate kiss. Hard, demanding and somewhat ferocious. Just like Kara herself.]

[Kara's fingers send shivers down the shorter girl's spine, eyes closing while they drag across her jaw. She could get used to this, relaxing in a peaceful place, spending time with cute girls, getting stroked and held. What's not to like?]

[And then Kara bowls her over with a kiss, overwhelming her with a level of enthusiasm that she just wasn't prepared for. One hand grips Kara's shoulder, while the other palms her lower back, giving her a couple firm smacks in a vain attempt to dislodge them.]

[Kara does stop, but it's a little slower than it would be if it was anyone else. A lazy smile flicks across her lips and she licks them a little.]

Sorry. I couldn't resist. I forget how delicate you are sometimes.

[She leans in a little closer, favoring Vera with a much gentler, much quicker kiss.]

Better?

[Oh thank god, she stopped. Vera was worried for a second that her heart was going to rip its way out of her chest had that continued much longer. Just give her a second to catch her breath...]

I-I am not delicate...

[She says with a face as red as a tomato. But the second kiss draws a stronger reaction. It's soft, quick, and doesn't immediately take her breath away. The business mogul catches herself leaning into Kara's soft lips.]

[Kara's smile perks up a little, especially when Vera kisses her back. Strong, heavily muscled arms wrap around her, pulling her closer. It's a tender embrace, a little slower, clearly her partner's preference and she can accept that. Finding herself rolling, pulling Vera atop her, she pulls away and closes her eyes, savoring that look.]

Nice. You're good at this.

[A hand slides slowly up her spine, tracing the outlines of several vertebrae.]

Breathless and on top is a good look for you.

[An embarrassed squeak sneaks past her lips as Kara easily handles her, moving her tiny frame like it weighed nothing it all. It takes a second for it to register that she was now on top, and when she does, she's frozen with apprehension as to what to do next.]

I am... always on top. [Shit shit shit what does she do now? Leaning down slowly, she pushes down on one of the girl's shoulders, so that she can... pin her down? Like the blonde powerhouse couldn't throw her across the city if she wanted to. That's not the least bit intimidating.

Screw it, she'll just lean down and kiss her again, a bit more eager this time, but still far from aggressive.]

Right...

[Eager is good, and that push is amusing. It's actually kind of cute, in a way. It's very different from how she expected, and she doesn't have the heart to discourage it. Vera should get to pretend to dom for a moment, so, she lays flatter, allowing herself to be 'pinned' after a fashion.

Kissing her back is easy, though she leaves the initiative to Vera there, instead just running her hand along the mogul's side, trying to encourage her some. Take charge, be the boss! Or try to, anyway.]

[Oh wow, she's stronger than she expected. Maybe she can just push down both of her shoulders, delivering small kisses down her jaw and onto her collarbone.]

What do you... [She kisses her neck again, hands moving down to her arms.] Um... should I...

What do you want to do?

[A pleased smile plays across Kara's lips as she asks. This is pretty good, it's clearly working for Vera, and she seems to be growing more confident.]

For tonight I'm your woman. What would you want to do to me? Or...what do you want me to do to you?

[She'll certainly take pride in doing whatever it is. Vera clearly needs this...]

My woman. [God that sound weird. She isn't entirely sure if she likes the sound of it or not, but it doesn't change the thought that this gorgeous woman beneath her is basically giving herself to her for the evening.

This would be so much easier if she was drunk.]

Get on top of me and take off your shirt. Show me what you do.

[Kara laughs and does just that...]

[And a little while later, she's laying down on the roof, knees bent up towards the sky, looking at the twinkling lights of passing stars, or aircraft, or whatever else...]

...Well that was nice.

[Meanwhile, not far away, Vera has managed to struggle her way back into her nightie, settling down onto her knees beside Kara.]

There are far worse ways to spend a night.

Yes, there are.

[She pulls Vera into a brawny, one armed hug.]

Admit it. You loved it.

Oof! [Oh hey she's back against her. This has been a pretty common thing tonight, not that she's complaining. Internally.

In the meantime, she'll gently lay herself against the taller blonde.]

I will admit nothing.

[argone]

That wasn't a question.

[Kara tilts over and gives her one last quick kiss.]

You were definitely moaning my name. And there's no shame in that. And I bet you feel a little more relaxed, too.

[Vera closes her eyes, leaning into the kiss and letting it linger for a moment. When Kara pulls away, she settles into the crook of her neck, a combination of the time of night and her lack of energy keeping her eyes shut.]

I won't be stressed any more today. Did it help you as well?

[argone]

Yeah, definitely.

[Kara shimmies her arm up and down a little.]

It's easy to relax when you're doing something you enjoy. Or someone.

You enjoy me?

[She sounds a bit surprised, sitting up slightly so she can look up at her.]

Uh. Yeah?

[...wait.]

This isn't some body image thing, is it? We've done this twice now. That has to tell you something.

[heiroglyphs]

No... not at all.

[She's just not used to people enjoying her company. Her employees are scared of her, and most people seem to resent her. Having someone want her around is kind of strange.

She settles back down against Kara's chest, shutting her eyes tight.]

I'm getting cold, keep me warm.

[argone]

[Aren't you engaged, girl?

Kara doesn't object though, pulling Vera into a hug and wrapping her bike jacket around her.]

Fucking you, twice, doesn't tell you anything at all? Girl. I do have standards. And you're alright. Too stuck up sometimes, but that's just who you are.

[Vera takes the collar of the jacket in one hand, pulling it tight against her.]

I mean it's not about how I am imagining my body. It's good to know you enjoy it, however.

[argone]

[That's right. Just relax...]

Then it's emotional? I like you. Obviously. Or I wouldn't have kept up with you.

[Relax she does, idly teasing a strand of Kara's hair with a single finger.]

It's... relieving to hear that. A lot of people are only looking for money, there are few people I can really trust.
