There are a lot of different things out here. We're lucky that there's a bit of familiarity in most places.

You're right, but it would be nice to at least be able to relax every once in a while. Seems like every time I let my guard down something terrible happens.

It's kind of a long story, but...

[She leans back in her throne-chair.]

Beacon was home to a network tower that allowed the countries to communicate with one another across vast distances. Kind of like the CEREvice here.

[AKA a cell phone.]

That tower was destroyed when the Grimm overran the school, causing the whole network to go down. No one can talk to each other anymore.

[ okay, a picture is slowly being formed, but that doesn't explain why she can't see rwby anymore. . . ]

And then what happened?

We wound up fighting the people who started this mess. Blake got into trouble fighting someone and Yang went in to protect her and...

[She needs to take another sip of her tea. This is always the worst part.]

She lost an arm, Tadashi. She didn't stand a chance.

tadashi just sits there, mouth half open, not sure what to say anymore. he wants to comfort weiss, he really wants to, but at this point, he's not even sure if that's possible. and this is ever the optimist tadashi thinking it, too. ]
