[Not that he's going to enjoy hearing anything she has to say, but it would feel good to be able to vent about all the terrible things that have happened while she was away.]

Do you know where Ruby and Yang live? I'm across the hall from them if you want to stop by.

I know the building, but I'm not sure which floor or room. Mind filling me in?

I can drop by in about half an hour, if that's cool with you.

[ he arrives no later than half an hour, as he said. it's always good to be punctual. he always has been when he was alive, and always will be, even in death.

he rings the doorbell and rocks on his heels a little. he's brought a box of chamomile tea for her as a present, too. ]

[Before Tadashi arrived, Weiss quickly wiped down her counters and picked up some things. She's a very cleanly person as it is, but it never hurts to put in the extra effort before guests arrive. When she opens the door, her eyes are immediately drawn to his gift.]

For me? But I didn't get you anything.

[bropane]

[ he can't help but let out a chortle at that. weiss, please. ]

But you're not visiting me, either.

Well when I visit you, I'll make sure to bring something.

[She stands back to hold the door open for him.]

Please, come in.

[bropane]

[ he takes a step in and notices the interior, though he stops just right after he passes the door. ]

Shoes on?

[heiroglyphs]

[She's... actually impressed you would ask such a thing.]

Whatever you prefer. I try not to be too restrictive with my guests.

[Though she's not wearing her shoes right now. Which... might be why she looks so much shorter than normal.]

[ well, he'll take his shoes off, then. wouldn't want to smear some dirt all over her pristine floor especially after a day of working with metal and oil. ]

I'll make it easier for you, then.

[ and another chortle. ]

[She would appreciate that. You can only imagine some of the things Ruby tracked into their dorm after working in the machine shop all day.]

Alright. Then I'll... boil some water for that tea?

[Is that how you make tea? She doesn't know how to make tea.]

Make yourself comfortable.

[ oh my god WEISS... should tadashi just handle the tea making-- at the very least, she got the boiling water right. ]

Yeah, but not too hot that it'd burn our tongues.

[ he isn't socially awkward or anything, so he does make himself comfortable straight away. he takes a seat by the living area, looking around at his surroundings to take in what kind of person weiss might be from the decor of the place. ]

Right. Not too hot, coming right up.

[Weiss' apartment has a modern flair that, while elegant, still looks reasonably comfortable to live in. It makes heavy use of stark white that almost makes it feel sterile. Thankfully CERES's hologram technology makes it a lot harder to show dirt, not that she would ever allow her home to get that dirty in the first place.

Behind him is her kitchen where Weiss is silently wishing she hadn't stored that old tea kettle on the top shelf of her pantry, and safely stored in the corner of the room is a white baby grand piano.]

[ it's definitely elegant, that's for sure. and well-kept, too. he can't help but comment... ]

Hiro could learn a lesson or two from you. His room--well, my room which he's using is a mess.

[Up on her tip toes now. Come here you damn teapot.]

You hnn let your little brother use your room?

[ he's rather late when he realises weiss being in a pinch so he gets up and heads to where she is, grabbing that teapot for her before she can.

you're adorable, you tiny thing, you. then again, tadashi is just gigantic. ]

Can't help it. [ he laughs. ] I just end up spoiling him no matter how hard I try not to.

[She huffs, tapping her foot as he grabs the teapot for her.]

I didn't ask for your help.

[ ah... he's used to this kind of personality. he's not putting weiss in a box or anything, but he is thinking that that kind of display was very similar to something go go would say.

he lets out a chortle before raising his arms to chest level, displaying his innocence. ]

Hey, I just wanted to help. Even if it was unwanted.

[heiroglyphs]

Well if you want to help so much, you can make the tea.

[PLEASE.]

Easily doable, [ he nods curtly, though he has to ask-- ] This isn't a trick question or some kind, is it?

[ is he getting shot for saying yes or what? he might have a guess of what kind of person weiss might be, but weiss is still a girl. aka unpredictable as hell. ]

Nope.

[She closes her pantry and steps back.]

It's all yours, go ahead.

[bropane]

If you say so, [ he says in a sing-song tone. and he proceeds further into the kitchen and starts making tea, putting some water into the pot first before boiling it. ] Pardon me for intruding.

[ he seems to have an easy time making the tea, as if he's done this millions of times. so ten or so minutes later, he's got chamomile tea in the pot. ]

All ready to serve, Miss Schnee.

[Huh, that was actually a lot easier than she expected it to be. She may have been watching more intently than the average person. Maybe a couple mental notes.]

Oh, already? Thanks.

[While Tadashi was making the tea, Weiss fetched two mugs. Thankfully these were in a more easily-reachable place.]

It's easy when you're just making them from tea bags, [ which he happily provided. ] but if you're making them straight from tea leaves, things get a little bit more complicated.

[ that said, he heads to where the mugs are to serve them, placing the teapot nearby for refills later on. ]

[She takes her mug and heads back into the living room because what's the point of having a princess throne if you don't use it, after all.]

Maybe I'll start drinking tea more often.

[She won't, but maybe.]
